Oral and Dental Health
Oral health covers every aspect of our lives but is often taken for granted. It is said that “Our mouth is a window into the health of our body” because it can show signs of nutritional deficiencies or general infection. Mouth lesions or other oral problems are visible due to the diseases of the body. Oral health is much more than having healthy teeth. It means being free from chronic oral-facial pain conditions, oral and pharyngeal cancers, oral soft tissue lesions, birth defects such as cleft lip and palate and scores of other diseases and disorders that affect the craniofacial complex.
